An American Dream

The Constitution is the framework for the American Dream. This dream, to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and Posterity” protects fundamental freedoms as an inheritance, ensuring that future generations retain the liberty to pursue their own version of success. Every citizen has the freedom to achieve their full potential. What defines the American Dream in terms of success, happiness, and wealth? Today as we confront a billionaire class attempting to take over the rule of law and thwart WE THE PEOPLE it is clear that great wealth can create spiritual poverty. I ask the question Who shall be poor in the midst of possessions because the American Dream demands a spirit of generosity, tolerance, and wealth that benefits all.

A reminder that liberty is as fragile as a flower and must be nourished by continuous civic participation. Mrs crucially by VOTING, the cornerstone of our democracy and the fundamental right upon which all our civil liberties rest.

Selected for Studio Montclair’s exhibition “Freedom” February 2026. This piece is a response to the political climate that threatens our democracy. Raised arms reflect the voices of citizens who are willing to stand up and defend the constitution and the flag of our country. This is a visual call to vote. A vote is power if you exercise it.
